Hello everyone, We are home from our trip to Wabeno, Wisconsin. The weather was a little on the chilly side. We had a wonderful time visiting our friends. We arrived a little early, and stopped in at the Northern Lights Casino. I won a hundred dollars shortly after arriving which is always a bad thing because I stuck most of it back in the machines. Oh well ! I still had a good time. The guys ended up fishing for the weekend, after fixing frozen water pipes. They did not find any Walleyes but came home with a bunch of Crappies. Donna and I went out for a onion on Saturday and it took about an hour and a half. We stopped at some of the little shops in town. We both found some very pretty, unique, sandals for the summer. I got to go on a ATV ride. I love riding on them. It always brings back memories from childhood. We use to ride them as kids at my parents cabin in Pelican Lake, Wisconsin. It feels good to be home. Hubby pulled the bass boat out this morning and fired up the engine. I just love that sound........We then went out fishing on Half Moon Lake. I kicked his butt in the beginning but by the time we left it was pretty even. Nothing really big was caught. The biggest was about two and half pounds. I am sun burned already on the face and the back of my neck. I am now going to call it a night. All the fresh, warm air has made me tired. It was 75 degrees today and it sure felt nice. Have a good evening. I will post a pick tomorrow of my husbands fifth legal Bass of the day.
