Good evening, Nothing exciting happening today. My wish for a quiet day at work finally came true. I sat on my butt all day and did nothing but paper work. Boring, but quiet. I know I am never happy, lol. I decided to stop this evening and pick up my battery back-up surge protector. I just finished messing around with all the hard to reach cords, of course the ports were labeled different from my previous surge protector, but after some trial and error I managed to get it hooked up correctly.
One more day of work and then I am off for one day. Yes, I have to work the weekend. I should have been wiser when choosing my full time profession, and picked one that gave you holidays and weekends off. I really don't mind working either one. I have been doing it for over twenty years already.
Oh one exciting thing that happened today two little fawns came running down our road but made it into the woods before I could snap a picture.
And my final thoughts for the evening. What the heck is going on with the police. They must be on a road side counseling kick. This morning I was cruising along at 75, now wait a minute that is only 5 miles over the speed limit. I happened to look in the rear view mirror and a damn Minnesota State Trooper was on my butt. Why do they try and intimidate you by riding your butt then they back off and then they come right back up on you. He finally zoomed around me and another little black sports car was behind him next thing I know I see his lights go on and he pulled the little black sports car over. Whew! Glad it wasn't me. I am now finally off the highway and almost to work when a cop on a motorcycle was checking radar this time I was going the speed limit. Thank goodness. On the way home from work on the same road there was another cop this time in his squad car checking radar. I don't know if he thinks he was hidden but he stuck out like a sore thumb. Just my opinion but I think they should spend a little more time trying to fight crime instead of trying to collect donations. Wanna be cop in the big city........lol. Oh well, have a nice evening or day. We will chat tomorrow.
