Good Evening world, another tough day at work. I don't understand why things have been so crazy lately. Yesterday really sucked. I started on one unit only to be pulled to another unit at almost eight clock in the morning. I did nothing but try and play catch up all day long. Thank goodness for the other two nurses working the floor. They gave me a hand and it all worked out in the end. Teamwork people! That is all it takes.
I just don't understand how some nurse's can just show up when ever they decide. It caused disruption not only to me but to the staff from two different units, not to mention all of the patients. I guess I will never be able to figure it out. It doesn't matter where you work there is always going to be people who are there just for a paycheck. I am sorry, but I could never be like that. Call me judgemental. I don't care! If it were you in the position I was put in on Wednesday I know there would have been alot of complaining and bitching. Some people just need to grow up and act like a responsible adult for a change.
Okay, I am still complaining about yesterday. I will leave it alone now that it is off my chest. Today was not as bad but still very busy. Alot of doctor calls with a ton of orders to follow. I made it though. One more day of work and then I am off for three. Hurray!
I have a graduation party on Saturday to attend, and then on Sunday I have a photo shoot scheduled. Nothing planned for Monday. I think I will take the day off and just enjoy it doing whatever I want. Alright that is enough rambling for the evening. I need to get ready for work. I wanted so bad to throw the alarm clock against the wall this morning, but I didn't:)
