Hi all, we made it out of the big city and have arrived home from the Minnesota State Fair, which marks the end of summer:( We had a wonderful time just browsing, eating, browsing, and eating....lol. The weather could not have been more perfect. Not to hot, not to cold. The place was packed. This year for parking we decided to park away from the fair grounds and take one of the shuttle buses in. It worked out perfect. We got to park and ride for free, and plus today was reduced ticket prices at the gate so we got a discount on our admission tickets. Just before we left the fair grounds we got to see the fair parade. It was wonderful, it has been years since I have sat and watch a parade. I love watching the marching bands with the flag people. The way they twirl them around is amazing. I use to be pretty good at twirling a baton. Oh that was so many years ago (chuckle). I am beat and ready to call it a night.
