Hi, boy it has been some time since I lasted checked in here. How is everyone? I am doing great. School and work is keeping me busy. I had a very busy day at work on Sunday, and was definitely glad to be off on Monday, but boy the day is gone already. School is going really well. My teacher this semester is awesome, and I am so glad I made the move from Century College to Chippewa Valley. I am finding Sociology very interesting, and it really keeps you thinking, only next time before I raise my hand in response to my teachers question I am going to take a few seconds to really think about the question. Lol. I knew I was in trouble when she said oh, Julie is up for a challenge today. Right there my heart sunk. It wasn't that bad though. I turned in my paper that involved studying the Nacirema. When reading about the culture and their rituals it made it sound so horrific that no one would want to live there only to find out it actually was talking about American culture. Look at the word Nacirema, spelled backwards it is American. I learned lesson number two, to also read things backwards in this class. Just about the entire class wanted their papers back. Lmao. This class really makes you think about our culture and society and how others influence you whether you recognize it or not. Anyhow, not much else happening. Hubby and I were out fishing and it has been awesome. We wanted to get out again, but the wind has been terrible. I am trying to making a video of our fishing adventures. I bought my husband a hat cam last year for Christmas and we were playing around with it. Now that we got all the bloops and bleeps out of the way, I am ready to make a good one. Now if only the weather would cooperate. I can't believe the leaves are changing colors already. We actually have one tree that has lost all of its leaves already. That only means one thing, cold weather is just around the corner. I would love for it to get cold one night and kill all of the skeeters they have been terrible.
