Hi all, what an exhausting day. Where are the tooth picks to keep my eyes open. It was a very long boring day at work today. Then after I got home and tinkered around for a bit, we were on the road again. Made a small trek up to the Hole In The Wall Casino. Not much happening there. I can't wait until they are done remodeling. It seems like it has been taking forever.
I have some exciting news. I was hired as seasonal help for the Flu Shot Clinic this year. It is really good money for just standing and poking people with a needle. I get to make my own schedule which is nice. I will be able to work it around my full time nursing job. It will also be nice to have the extra cash.
Yesterday was an interesting day. I got paid to go fishing. No, I am not kidding. We have a program at work which gives the patient's the chance to make a Purple Wish. Which means the facility try's to grant them their wish, and the wish is based on something that they would really like to do. So I had the chance to go fishing out on Clearwater Lake. We caught fish but nothing gigantic. All in all it turned out to be a wonderful day, and the resident that went along had a phenomenal day. You can't beat that.
