~ Heading Out To The Lake ~

I am heading out to the lake for some summer fun bass fishing with my dear sweet husband. We will have to try and get as many days in as possible. He will be starting work again soon, he was hired to cook at the casino. I am not sure if he will go back to the Ski Resort this winter since his new job will be year round employment with benefits that include vacation time. I certainly will miss coming home from work and having dinner ready. I have been very spoiled these past few months, and I will have to take over the cleaning again.....Sigh!

I am hoping all the blue plater's have returned home so we are not dinking around at the boat landing. It kills me they come from the land of ten thousand lakes but don't know how to launch a boat. I have been thinking about standing at the boat landing and offering to launch their boat for five bucks:) It is just so frustrating to sit and watch them, first load their boat right in the middle of the launch and then go back and forth about 20 zillion times to get the boat in the water. It takes my husband and I about three minutes. I back him in and he drives it off the trailer, and bam your done. The same applies for loading it on the trailer. Maybe better yet I should teach a class at the boat launch on proper etiquette, safety, meaning the launch area isn't a place for your children to play in the water, and how to launch your boat while fishing in Wisconsin. It is really difficult to see a small child while backing up a 18ft. bass boat. So please keep them out of the launch area. Most days I just sit and chuckle, but yesterday it was frustrating.
