Hi it's me Julie, I finally got my computer back. Now lets see how long it continues to run properly. I upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7. I all the bugs are finally worked out.
Boy, what happened to summer? It went from ninety degrees to seventy degrees and windy. I want the warmer air back even if it is humid. The summers seem to be getting shorter, and the winters longer. I am not looking forward to winter at all. Yuck!
Fall semester begins next Monday. I have class three days a week this semester. Looking forward to starting at Chippewa Valley. Everyone I have encountered has been so helpful and kind. I am so glad I am not getting the run around like at Century College. I am so glad I don't have to step foot back in that school.
I haven't done much today, trying to get all my programs back onto my computer. Also, went and had a CT Scan of my abdomen and pelvis. I had to drink a whole bunch of ucky tasting contrast solution so they could see the abdominal cavity, and I also had an I.V. started with that lovely iodine solution. I hate that metal taste it leaves in your mouth, and the awful sensation of feeling like you need to pee. Anyways, I am glad it is done. Now sit and wait for the results. At least I talked my doctor into letting me come every six months. Sure beats every three months, but I am sure that will change if someone shows up on my tests. Keeping fingers crossed that I continue to have negative test results. I just keep getting these awful pains in my pelvic area. It is so frustrating. Not that the pain is unbearable, but it is annoying. Oh well, I just have to keep pushing along.
That's all folks. Have a nice evening.
