~ Tech Support ~

Can someone please tell me why tech support treats people like crap. Ah, just because I brought you my computer to repair doesn't mean I don't know anything about them, so don't ask me stupid self condescending questions. Remember the last time I brought it in you didn't fix it correctly and it had to be shipped out after my second trip there. Geesh!
Anyway, not much else happening on the home front, same old routine, just a different day. Still waiting for my transcripts to reach Chippewa Valley. Trying to get your transcripts is another battle. I made a phone call to MATC and the lady told me don't call me if I don't have your request by the end of the day I will call you. Excuse me! What are people so afraid to speak to another human. I don't understand before all these electronics you had no choice, but to speak to someone. Now, it is all about email, texting, voicemail, fax it, or push this button only to be directed to push another button. Life sure has changed in the last twenty years. As a child growing up, I would never had asked my parents for a ride somewhere. If you wanted to go there, you hoofed it. I can't tell you how many places my friends and I walked. Don't get me wrong, I love all the new technology just like the next person, but sometimes it would actually be nice to hold a conversation with someone. I guess I just have to accept it and move on.
We got our new big screen HDTV and I love. On Friday the Direct TV guy will be out to hook up the HD DVR. I am excited about that. We will actually be able to pause and rewind if we miss something. Which is an awesome feature since my husband can't watch T.V. without the remote in his hand. He just has to turn the channel whenever there is a commercial.
My poor dear sweet husband has been extremely busy at work. In Wisconsin they have opened the new Hole In The Wall Casino and Lodge. According to my husband it is phenomenal. Him and his boss have been up there giving them a hand and working thirteen hour days trying to get the place under control. It has been peer chaos since it had it's grand opening, but he loves the extra hours. One thing I know for sure he is probably one of the most hard working guys I know. He never turns down overtime. Sometimes I don't know how he does it.
Well, I am now off to tend to the flower gardens. It is so bloody hot and humid outside. The mosquitoes have been terrible. I have so many bites from them pesty little suckers. I don't know where to scratch first.
Chow for now.
